An exploration of truth and the ways that we can deal with it.
Survival …
There are many ways of surviving, overcoming problems in our lives. But which is the best solution? Each problem is different and needs closer inspection.

We live in a world where everything and everyone is inter-connected and not always in an obvious way. A small action in one part of the world can have major consequences elsewhere.
Often we are so immersed in our own thinking (automated?) that we are unable to see what’s going actually going on.
On a personal level, I’ve always had very high anxiety and subsequently I react … react … react … to everything. Even a whisper in another room, I have an internal reaction.
We all learn to survive in our own ways, some able to thrive in some fashion, whilst others barely hang on to some kind of existence.
Busy with dealing with apparent problems outside of ourselves, we fail to address the often more important things, inside of our selves.
Weirdly, this train of thought started with me dealing with an ant problem in the house … trying to find a resolution that is good for both me and the ants. A way which sits right with me, instead of finding ways of wiping them out. A good outcome instead of a reaction I guess.
There are many other examples I could use … dealing with weeds? We can either use chemicals, and pay the price with ill health and lower quality soil, or see them as nature’s fertilizer. Some weeds, such as dandelions, are in fact very beneficial to our health.
Often dealing with problems takes us down many side roads, looking for an agreeable solution. The question is, agreeable to who? Do we blindly follow what others would do? Is it actually a problem? Could it be something we can learn from and perhaps turn into something much more meaningful?
One way I’ve noticed that we deal with problems, is to label it. As though that gives you some kind of ownership, and defeat of the problem.
Suddenly, everyone’s labelled a Narcissist or a Psychopath and the divide is widened. Our perspective is limited but we feel better having put the problem to bed. Perhaps this isn’t the best example, as there are people that are highly narcissistic and psychopathic in society. It just shouldn’t be so widely thrown around. Doing so is self-defeating and therefore harmful to your self.
Some problems can actually be opportunities, just depending on how you allow your fear or anxiety level to remain. Separate yourself from that and you will find a better and a more meaningful and agreeable solution ahead.
I could finish by saying that society is the problem, but I would be wrong.
Society’s are temporary and changeable. Those that are fear-based, and let’s face it, we’ve had our fair share of these in our own and our parents’ lifetimes, are only that way because we’ve lacked the insight into our own individual “conditions”. We always look out and never in, our paths seemingly defined from womb to tomb …
I don’t see it as an intellectual problem, to be answered by those with letters behind their name or millions of subscribers. Each follower or reader can have their own thoughts and feelings, but is often too afraid to even speak (or think), too busy defining their life in service of others over themselves.
