Sovereignty revisited

A much deeper view of our human sovereignty

I feel that going right back to the beginning is perhaps the best way to start. From the moment that people grouped together, maybe based on a growing family or as the Scottish would call the "clan". The tribes of the world claimed prime areas of the land and its resources as their territory and later, their birthright.

Perhaps centuries, or thousands of years of this cohesion and growth led us to the formation of "civilisations" as we know them from the history books.

All of the time, the strongest became the most powerful, the kings and queens, the chiefs and leaders of nations.

Many, mainly less "advanced" groups still embracing the tribal state were either wiped out, or were "absorbed" into the larger, more powerful civilisations. Although there are still remnants of tribes scattered around the world in small numbers, they are like echoes of the past. Some cultures still preserve the fundamental basics, however they have been essentially changed forever.

Throughout all of the upheavals encountered along the way, we are fortunate enough to be able to look back, to a certain degree, using accounts of certain people living at the time, and are able to piece together what it was like to live in that distant time, and perhaps compare it with our own.

This view is a little fragmented and polarised, but we can still try to imagine what "ordinary" peoples lives were like. As the majority of history is focussed upon the "famous" and the powerful, there are swathes of it that were not recorded, in any great capacity. However, reflecting on the time, you could conjure up all sorts of situations based upon what is known of the time.

Indeed we know a lot about living conditions and how day to day life played out in many cultures and empires for ordinary folk. For them it followed essentially the same patterns, the pyramids of power ensuring that the higher levels held on to their place, their land, whilst often exploiting others in order to keep the balance in their favour.

From the earliest empires through to the Romans, the British empire, to the United States, at least from a western perspective, there were many shifts of power, resulting in large and powerful nations crumbling under their own weight, unless they were able to usher in a new era, keeping the power under a different yet similar system.

Most western governments "portray" a catering of the varying societal differences and seemingly allow all divisions to take part, to some degree at least.

As we veer closer to a newer "feudal" type system, which has been experienced in the fairly distant past, whereby "you will own nothing", the markets are no longer free and open to all, the majority of them owned and controlled by much larger parent companies.

The small businesses increasingly under pressure to comply and jump through hoops, in order to survive in the market place.

Thankfully, this picture isn't evident in all countries, only the most powerful ones. China perhaps leads the way to the future format we can expect to see, as all of the great powers seem to be aligning with each other, on the same course of total global control.

In the past, this type of control system became so successful, yet lacked the ability to fully control the population and, through revolution of the masses, was replaced by systems more compliant, serving the country better, as a whole.

With the erosion of democracy, and all sides become part of the same push to attack the population, the tools of division and fear, perhaps perfected by the USSR, used to frog march everyone towards having NO SOVEREIGNTY and there zero FREEDOM.

Instead of having a focus on what reflects our situation back to us, we only have visions of control dressed as safety, bad replacing good basically. With the help of technology, the feudal system is resurrected, on steroids. No longer about just the control of land or a single resource, it's about all land and all resources, the people used as pawns, perhaps as they have always been. Pawns can be divided up and easily conquered, using technology and whatever information you want to circulate.

Migration caused by wars and the effects of poverty in other lands not affiliated, becomes a tool to destabilise the very systems that our ancestors, the ordinary people, fought and died for. The risen have fallen, unable to stop the tide of progress. The politicians bought like mercenaries, and anyone not on the payroll feels the weight of the new system.

Back in the day, the enemy of the feudal state was the population, and they could do nothing to quell the tide of dissent against the tyranny. Now, they can pay people to scrutinise in order to obfuscate and mislead. Our capitalist system used to build an army with just one directive, quell or kill the masses, the enemy of their plan.

Our free and open market hijacked and used against us, our "progress" rolled back and depleted. Indeed any system built to support the people is attacked daily, to the point of becoming ineffective. Wars no longer fought to protect the innocent, but orchestrated in order to subject them to tyranny, profiting from the industrial war machine that we were warned about, by a president nonetheless.

Indeed, presidents can be bought, or eliminated, it seems.

As the service sector, physical banks and any semblance of human connection is made redundant and moved to the AI model, the model that can subvert without a care, a compassionless situation for the population to endure is becoming the norm.

Indeed, had we studied the history and read between the lines, we would have known that history is not static, it can be changed at any time, the flat becomes the globe, or oblique spheroid, and the past can be repeated in the now, and our existence is not our own thoughts but what others tell us to think, and we believe it word for word.

In Germany a pensioner can be jailed for calling a politician a liar. In the UK the same can be applied to anyone protesting about the killing and rape of children, as it threatens the agenda. It's a voice or action of hope that must be extinguished. Although, even in jail you still have your sovereignty, and your voice.

Wisdom would perhaps tell us that trying to deal with these problems is futile, however WE are part of the problem through our actions, or rather our inactions. I feel that our actions should be directed back to our roots that lie, almost rotting in the soil. Our local connections, our neighbours, our families, at least those that haven't fragmented (emotionally or physically). Our world as we knew it is coming to an end, yet there are still seeds of humanity that are preserved within all of us. All it takes is for each of us to "belong" to it once more. To shed the layers of conformity and programming that have built around us. Once you see it, it's no longer something to be feared, it was "once" us but is no more.

Once you name it, it has no power. You can be still and hope it doesn't see you, or you can call it what it is, without the fear of repercussion.

An example, perhaps there are many more littered throughout history, is when British and Germans soldiers played football in nomans land on Christmas Day, i believe. This was a brief respite, you could almost see it as a kind of tribute to the fallen, to the fall of "humanity". The soldiers, against the orders of the generals on both "sides", played a game of soccer. They chose an action that defied the misery and pointlessness of the war, the fly in the ointment of " the plan". A shame that it didn't spark something greater, but the fact that it did happen is testament to the wishes of a few to return to humanity, embracing it instead of destroying it.

Indeed, there are some that wish to destroy it, by making it "better". Is that better for us or them? You decide. But don't take too long.

It's saddening that the human race is being judged and eradicated by those that don't possess its qualities.

If a country is poor, feed it. They enslave and exploit it, and we allow it. We fund it, therefore it's on us. If we were truly connected to those caught up in the day to day struggles of those making our " stuff", would we buy in to it?

Whilst queueing for the latest iPhone, do we really care about the levels of suicide and the long hours of labour forced on our fellow humans making it? Quite simply, no.

Society has programmed out the caring nature and replaced it with fluff. Our food never looked and tasted so good, so our bodies are just as toxic. Depressed and anxious, distracting with toys and supplements.

We experience daily "small talk" because there is nothing left, often leaving us empty and disconnected.

Our sovereignty can be bred out of us, this is more obvious as you get older. The things that mattered decades previous are no more. The clanking of the milk bottles in the early morning, the sound of horse hooves down the street, the chatter of the "pubs" at night, no more. The subtle changes are felt by all, and the conversations with strangers that appeared from nowhere, the moments of clarity as dawn draws near, marking the end of another shift.

The traveller, repairing pots and sharpening knives, travelling through the towns.

The cobblers and craftsmen, serving the public with crafted tools and learned skills.

The appreciation of housewives across the land, that valued at the human level, the talents of the few. Now pots are bought and worn out, destined to be buried or turned into a cheap car.

The thoughlessness that has gone into industry on such a massive scale is perhaps one of the most significant blunders of all time. Not only has quality and value diminished, but the human traits that accompany them has also gone.

Eradicating quality and value, even on household objects, i'm sure has had an effect on everyone. It truly robs us of a degree of sovereignty hidden from us. Not only ushering us into a disposable society, but one where the same can apply to each other. No longer having the same values for others, or for ourselves for that matter, do we begin to lose, not only our inherent connection, but also our identities.

The path then opens up towards various kinds of depression, at varying levels, and all society can offer is a pill and a chat, as if either will undo the damage done by the few.

Whilst it's fairly obvious to many of us, it's still less obvious to others. We can reshape our behaviours to counter narratives, formulating our own decisions, or just refusing to walk the path any more. Perhaps we have never known anything else, but even then, it will take the same level of interaction with your true self and other authentic souls, to arrive at your own conclusions.

It's one thing being divided from each other, but dividing from the sources of propaganda is something they can't control. I personally haven't witnessed live TV, apart from when visiting others, for many decades, and apply the same rule to social media. It is what divides us, the messaging and the advertising, it's all programming by the system.

Seek alternatives if you want out, there are many. Otherwise, your mind is truly your own. Your family and friends will do their thing, but you don't have to follow and be part of the crowd. Your mind is the current asset they are going for, trying to connect you, control you, directly.

You still have sovereignty, your sun is still rising in the sky. If you've never experienced humanity, start with yourself, it's where everything begins and where it will end, regardless of what anyone tries to tell you.
