An exploration of truth and the ways that we can deal with it.

Return to Innocence

The purpose of this article is to examine our acceptance of realities outside of ourselves and how we currently become "less" instead of more.

Follow the noise and find the truth, or rather the true intention of those responsible.

Each speaker has a truth and an intention of drawing attention to themselves or their "cause". Dig a little deeper and you will find their true intention and their agenda.

Often it's very difficult to know someone's true agenda though, as it is usually cleverly portrayed as something else entirely.

The need to control and manipulate others can be linked to an individual's need for identity and an affirmation of themselves. Of course this identity is usually a "product" of external influences rather than being based upon the "truer" sense of self.

Looking into your own intention can equally uncover some unpleasant truths and can result in a kind of separation from ourselves. Only by self reflection can we seek to realize our true needs and discard those that are imprinted onto us from external indoctrination. Often our subconscious will create stories from our emotions and steer us in directions that are not necessarily in our best long-term interest.

When examining "cults", whereby an individual (or like-minded group) creates a societal alternative, it is often portrayed as some kind of threat to the general consensus of people. Often it is merely an attempt to create an alternative to the "accepted" experience of life.

It is often debatable as to the true sovereignty of the individuals within these groups, as it can also be based on the needs of the few and not necessarily it's members. The kinds of people "drawn in" are often susceptible to control and easily led, or victims of abuse that are attracted to the control mechanism and somehow see it as a source of safety, an escape of the society that treated them so badly.

The cult of the "self" would be more aligned with our own personal needs, as different as each person is, we should celebrate our differences and not allow ourselves to be coerced into someone else's "ideal".

Often the very people that call themselves philanthropists and often coerce others into supporting such a narrative, will often be found to be nothing but power hungry individuals interested only in their own hold over humanity, either on a local or much wider level, seeing it as a fuel source for their cleverly constructed yet fragile existence.

As a friend once stated, "There are many important people in the cemetery".

For millennia, the family has been the foundation of the individual. Our very survival depended upon our parents and relatives, and it was family members that we mostly relied on for our needs. In the tribal era especially, it was indeed the main focus of daily life.

As tribes grew larger and civilizations became established, the role of the family started to erode, as the outside mechanisms of control and establishment of borders came into being.

I'm sure that different families rose to power within the tribes, as we've seen within early civilizations, the least wealthy turning to a nomadic life in order to survive, and others perhaps became outcasts as a result of power struggles within the tribe.

All throughout, the individual and indeed the family has endured the effects of outside influences that sought to diminish it's almost perfect and natural existence.

With the development of religions and belief systems, based on much earlier "myth" and ancient legends, echoes of a distant past, another control mechanism was put in place with varying degrees of intolerance for the old world view.

The development of currency, a replacement for the much fairer and simpler "barter" system, also allowed the powerful families to further emasculate the population.

The introduction of "tax" is perhaps one of the most criminal mechanisms to reduce the individuals ability to rid itself of the shackles of society.

One lifetime is simply not sufficient to fully embrace the concept of true freedom in it's purest form, we simply can't comprehend what has happened in such a relatively short time scale.

Sure, we can read the books written by "historians", following a trail of one-sided breadcrumbs and devoid of any first hand accounts of the oppressed.

It seems pretty obvious, even in today's technologically advanced civilization, that a lot of seemingly "good" opportunities, are offered like a carrot on a stick, never to be fully realized as we are completely out of touch with our sense of who we are.

With everyone striving to be "the best" and given limiting options, it has robbed the individual of any feeling of self. The self becomes a product to be exploited by those more fortunate.

The only voices being heard are those that are fortunate and in elevated positions. The average person has not the luxury of free thought and voice as they will be chastised unless they agree to go along with the narrative.

My views are very cynical, as I see many hopeful rays of hope become watered down and diminished. Attempts to change for the good are met with waves of opposition, often cleverly created programs that infiltrate the minds and weaken the spirit.

Our screens are filled with dreams and fantasy as a distraction to the reality around us. Young minds naturally accept this reality and shape themselves to fit in, rarely questioning anything, they become robotic in order to assimilate.

It seems that for many thousands of years there have been many "interventions", many of which are merely myth and legend, whereby outside forces have attempted to reset mankind and steer it towards a seemingly healthier future, however it has repeated the same mistakes as generations have become separated from truth.

For truth is obfuscated and false, it shape shifts to the point that you give up searching for it. My answer to this, is that looking at the external for truth is near impossible and requires knowledge that is under lock and key. Truth therefore, lies within the individual. Like a blueprint laying on some dusty shelf, in a room that you are too afraid to visit. Our connection with it's source lays dormant and invisible to the programmed mind.

Whilst we "study" and learn how to operate, each step draws us further away from the path to growth and true freedom. The programs hide their intention, changing the meaning of words and reframing where necessary in order to solidify it's control over the individual.

As we strive for better and safer futures, whilst being given the illusion of free choice, the program is repeating the routines, whilst "sub-routines" are added in order to keep us less unified with ourselves and those around us, more distracted and occupied with anything but our "own" thoughts.

Answers, although they are right in front of us, are no longer apparent to us. We are blinded to the truths, unless we strip away the noise and focus on ourselves. Taking control back is just the first step. It's not about finding a belief but a reality. Re-developing your present, forgetting your past and becoming less absorbed in your future. The past is important only if it's seen through your "true" perspective, not based upon your "learnt" reality, the picture is much larger and has many colours, our experience should be vibrant and complete.

If you have a thought, even if it makes no sense or has no bearing on your reality, keep it safe. For often it will lead you to find grains of truth that will alter your course over time. Finding connections that will open your mind further to explore deeper meaning in life, is, I believe, a much truer existence, aligning ourselves with our creator, whomever he/she/it is ...
