The "freedom fighters" who fought for peace have since faded into memory and sovereignty has returned at the individual level.

Whilst tribal and civilization-al developments have taught us many things, they have also taught us what we are not. They've shown us similarities that should allow individualism, not conformity. The need to escape or distract, into virtual worlds and fantasy, often used as a mind control mechanism, is now a trait no longer desired. The trauma of the past, seen as the growing pains within a species that wasn't aware of its path or indeed its real destiny, is now a glimpse of the journey that we've taken, collectively.

Reality is something that can be built, one small piece at a time. Small but subtle changes, that can further guide us to where we want to be. Instead of reacting or distracting, we just need to realize what is real and what is not. We need to know ourselves and take action towards changing for the better.
